Yes. The preliminary case evaluation is free. It gives Lexvico an opportunity to review basic information, identify possible conflicts or jurisdictional concerns, and determine whether the requested work may fall within our services. A full consultation or investigation may involve fees.
Every case is unique. Timelines depend on the complexity of the matter, the information available, the accessibility of records and witnesses, jurisdiction, and the scope of work required. We will discuss a realistic timeline during your consultation and keep you updated throughout the process.
Lexvico treats client information with discretion and uses reasonable safeguards to protect case details. Confidentiality may be subject to legal requirements, court orders, professional obligations, and the terms of the written service agreement.

Yes. Lexvico provides independent investigative support in wrongful conviction and post-conviction matters. Services may include records retrieval, case-file reconstruction, witness location and interviews, evidence tracking, chronology development, and identification of investigative gaps. Lexvico does not provide legal representation or guarantee exoneration or any other legal outcome.
Lexvico is based and licensed in Missouri. Research, consultation, records work, and other permitted services may be available to clients nationwide. Physical fieldwork outside Missouri is handled only where legally authorized or through appropriately licensed local subcontractors or partner investigators.
Provide a concise summary of the situation, the names of relevant parties, the type of information or assistance you need, any known deadlines, and the state or jurisdiction involved. Do not submit Social Security numbers, full financial account numbers, medical records, or a complete case file through a general contact form.
No. An investigation may uncover useful information, clarify the record, or identify new leads, but no investigator can guarantee that a person will be located, a suspicion will be confirmed, a court will grant relief, or a particular legal or personal outcome will occur.
Costs depend on the scope, complexity, urgency, location, records fees, travel, and whether subcontractors or specialized resources are required. Lexvico will explain the proposed scope and fee structure before investigative work begins.
Deliverables depend on the service agreement. They may include a written investigative report, records, locate results, witness-interview summaries, chronologies, factual comparison charts, or other agreed-upon materials.
